the Physics Education Technology Project
This is a simulation of radio waves being broadcast from a transmitter to receiver. Users can manually control the transmitter electron or set automatic oscillation. The field can be displayed as a curve or vectors, with students controlling the frequency and amplitude.
This item is part of a larger collection of simulations developed by the Physics Education Technology project (PhET). Each PhET resource was designed using principles from physics education research and refined based on student interviews.
